ALE COVID-19 INFORMATION PAGE
In an effort to keep Liberia's educators updated on COVID-19, ALE has added this page. It will include updates on the spread of COVID-19 world-wide, including in Africa and in Liberia.
It will also provide information on how to protect ourselves and our loved ones from this virus.
Weekly, ALE will share a passage about one aspect of COVID-19. It will be called Liberia Reads to Learn About COVID-19. Each passage will have a set of ten questions to sharpen vocabulary knowledge and test comprehension.
To further our belief that Liberian educators should support other Liberians in educating children, ALE has created a "Teacher Resource" section. This section allows Liberian educators to download free COVID-19 informational passages and questions for use with their students. Each topic is written at a PRIMARY level for 1st - 3rd grade students, and at an INTERMEDIATE level for students in 4th grade and above. Each passage has 5 vocabulary questions and 5 comprehension questions.
